Warrant canary

A warrant canary is a statement we can publish freely today — but would be legally unable to keep publishing if we were served a secret order. As long as this page keeps appearing, signed and current, the statements below remain true.

HOW TO READ IT

What silence would mean

This canary is refreshed and re-signed on a fixed schedule. If an update is late, the signature fails to verify, or a statement above quietly disappears, treat it as a signal — not proof, but a reason to ask questions before trusting the service with anything sensitive.

Because a canary works by omission, we can't legally comment on why one might lapse. That's the point: we can be forced to stop speaking, but we cannot be forced to lie in a signed statement.

In plain terms: the strongest promise a no-log service can make is one it would be unable to keep making under pressure. This page is that promise. Related: Security & no-log.
